Jeff Hardy had alcohol three times the legal limit after car crash

TMZ.COM is reporting that Jeff Hardy underwent a breathalyzer test and blew three times the legal limit on Saturday night after he crashed his car according the police report.

Hardy was driving his 2016 Cadillac CTS-V sedan when he lost control of the vehicle, crashing and damaging 105 feet of guardrail. The former Tag Team champion was released an hour after he was booked.

In a statement to TMZ, WWE said, “Jeff Hardy is responsible for his own personal actions. We are investigating the matter and awaiting information from local law enforcement officials.”

Usually, WWE Superstars who are involved in DUIs avoid further punishment by the company. Jey Uso was arrested for a similar violation two months ago and returned to the ring a few days later still the Smackdown Tag Team champion.
