Jeff Jarrett to wrestle inside a WWE ring this Monday on Raw

Jeff Jarrett will be wrestling his first match inside a WWE ring in 19 years this coming Monday night on Raw.

Jarrett will be flanked by his former partner Road Dogg to take on Elias as the angle from the Royal Rumble and the next night on Raw continues in Portland on Monday. Elias drew #1 in the Rumble but Jarrett, who had #2, cut him off before he started to sing. Elias ended up smashing his guitar on Jarrett and the next night on Raw the same thing happened when Jarrett and Road Dogg started singing “With My Baby Tonight”…only to be attacked by Elias and his guitar again.

Jarrett last wrestled in a WWE ring in October 1999, losing the Intercontinental title to Chyna at No Mercy. That night, Jarrett walked out with $300,000 after he agreed to wrestle after his contract expired, a costly oversight by the WWE talent relations department.

The WWE and Impact Hall of Famer signed a new WWE deal this year and is now working full-time with the company as a producer and the occasional on-screen angles.
