Jesse Ventura says he’s on the verge of signing WWE Legends deal

In an interview with Chris Van Vliet, WWE Hall of Famer Jesse Ventura said that he is on the verge of signing a Legends deal with WWE, ending his 15-year exile from the company.

Asked about his relationship with WWE is at the moment, Ventura said it has “much improved” compared to the previous years where he wanted nothing to do with the company as long as Vince McMahon was heading it.

“We are on the verge right now, I can say this, that contracts have been written, contracts have been agreed upon, and all it requires is two signatures, one from them, and one from me,” Ventura said. “And I will be back with the Legends.”

He noted that the deal will be done fairly quickly because “time is money.” Ventura visited WWE during Raw last month in his home state of Minnesota, a state where he was a governor between 1998 and 2003. He was greeted by WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H upon his arrival and mingled with the rest of the Superstars backstage. His visit was also mentioned on the show, with Michael Cole welcoming “The Body” back home.
