Jinder Mahal returns on Raw

Jinder Mahal, the former 3MB member, returned to WWE at yesterday’s Raw, and earned a spot on the Raw roster by defeating his former tag team partner Heath Slater.

The Calgary native worked for the WWE a few years ago, first as a developmental talent at FCW in 2010 and then moving to the main roster in 2011. In 2012 he formed 3MB with Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre but in 2014 he was released from his contract along with Drew McIntyre, effectively ending the 3MB group.

Mahal was rumored to be joining the company a few weeks ago and his return was handled during a segment where Heath Slater tried to get signed to Raw after getting gored last week on Smackdown by Rhyno. Foley told both men that there’s only one spot and whoever won the match against each other would be signed.
