John Cena enters the 2019 Royal Rumble match

John Cena will be entering in this year’s Royal Rumble match, his first participation in the 30-man over-the-top rope battle royal since 2013, a Rumble match that he won.

Cena appeared on Raw yesterday and also wrestled in a six-man tag team match, teaming up with Seth Rollins and Finn Balor to defeat Dean Ambrose, Lashley, and Drew McIntyre.

Cena will be flying to Vancouver before the Rumble to start filming his new movie and will then return towards the end of the month for the Rumble pay-per-view. Last year Cena said that he would also be part of WrestleMania 35.

Apart from Cena, new entrants in the Rumble include Dean Ambrose, Jeff Hardy, Samoa Joe, and Bobby Lashley.
