John Cena promises he’ll be at WrestleMania 35

During an appearance a few days ago on SirisXM’s The Today Show Radio with host Hoda Kotb, John Cena took a few questions from an audience of kids who asked him a few wrestling-related questions and one of them was about if he will be appearing at WrestleMania 35.

Cena said that WrestleMania will take place in New York and he’s here right now. “Would you like to see me at WrestleMania 35?” Cena asked the kid as he did the usual ‘you can’t see me’ hand motion. “Then you know what…I was thinking about missing it but because you want see me there, I wouldn’t miss it for the world.”

Cena then promised that he will be at WrestleMania and even shook hands on the kid to “make it official.”

The former 16-time champion had a “disastrous” WrestleMania this year, losing to the Undertaker in under three minutes, putting an end to an angle which was built for weeks of him calling out Taker but Taker never showing up…until it was WrestleMania Sunday. The Undertaker won clean with a Tombstone Piledriver.
