John Cena returns to WWE tonight, to appear weekly till end of October

John Cena returns to WWE television starting tonight for the next two months, appearing on television the whole way.

Tonight’s Smackdown in Hershey will be Cena’s first appearance on WWE TV since his surprise visit at Money In The Bank in London. He won’t be at Smackdown next week as he will be in India with the Raw roster for Superstar Spectacle, but after that, he’s locked in till the end of October.

Cena’s return was made easier because of the Hollywood strike and none of the actors can do anything movies-related at the moment, not even promoting their own work. Cena’s deal could be extended if the strike in Hollywood continues heading into winter.

Cena will team up with Seth Rollins to take on Imperium’s Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci in India. There are also rumors that Cena will be part of Payback tomorrow as well.
