John Cena to face Alberto Del Rio for WH title at HIAC pay-per-view

John Cena has been out with an elbow injury since the day after SummerSlam, undergoing surgery that week with an estimated return time of four to six months.

But four to six months has just turned into just two months as last night on RAW, Vickie Guerrero announced that Alberto Del Rio would be defending his World Heavyweight Title against John Cena at the Hell In A Cell pay-per-view later this month.

The original plan was to have Cena return in time for the Royal Rumble but apparently Cena’s body heals faster than most human beings and he will be ready in time for the October 27 show.

“You heard it on #RAW, @WWE Universe. Hell in a Cell vs. @VivaDelRio for the WHC. The Champ is… Back! #EvenStronger,” Cena tweeted earlier today.
