Kairi Sane pulled out of live events after blows to the head at TLC

On Sunday night at the TLC pay-per-view, Kairi Sane received a few blows to the head that might have resulted in her getting concussed. Sane looked in lala land for a bit after she got thrown a monitor which hit her in the back of her head and suplexed by Flair where she hit her head on the concrete floor.

Sane was not involved in any physical action on Raw the following night and now she has also been pulled from the post-Christmas tour, meaning she will miss the annual Madison Square Garden show on December 26. Sane and Asuka were going to defend their titles against Flair and Lynch on that night but now it will be a triple threat match between Lynch, Flair, and Asuka inside a steel cage.

Sane showed concussion-like symptoms and the belief backstage is that the situation should have been handled better from the people running the show. The referee never threw the X hand signal and no doctor checked on Sane during the match. She was pretty evident that she got knocked out at one point and Lynch even tried to protect her during the rest of the match.

Vince McMahon and Triple H – who usually run the shows from Gorilla – were not present at the TLC pay-per-view and the show was being run by Paul Heyman and Bruce Prichard.

Both Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair saluted Sane on Twitter noting what a tough warrior she is.

Sane said on Twitter that she is doing okay but WWE medical doctors have not cleared her to compete yet.
