Keith Lee returns on Raw after six-month absence

After an absence of six months, former NXT champion Keith Lee made his return to Raw and confronted WWE champion Bobby Lashley. Lee answered Lashley’s open challenge but fell victim to the All Mighty one in a very one-sided victory.

Lee has not appeared on WWE television since the beginning of the year and at the Elimination Chamber he was supposed to be in a triple threat match against Lashley and Riddle for the United States title. Lee did not wrestle that night, and his absence has been shrouded in secrecy.

Several weeks ago, the fan favorite wrote on Twitter that he wanted to tell everyone what happened in late January and make it educational but apparently was not allowed to talk about it. He vowed to find another way to tell fans why he has been out of the ring for so long with no explanation at all.

After his return, his girlfriend and fellow WWE Superstar Mia Yim wrote, “You guys… this is huge. Tears of joy. So happy and proud. Nothing keeps him down.”
