After losing AJ Styles due to the TLC pay-per-view, the Smackdown brand on tour in South America also lost another big star: Kevin Owens.
The former WWE Universal champion has left the tour due to personal reasons which are not public at this point. WWE.COM did not elaborate on the story, saying only that he will skip the other shows as he heads home. Owens wrestled on the first leg of the tour in Buenos Aires, Argentina yesterday and was scheduled to be present for the other three dates – one more in Buenos Aires tonight and two in Santiago, Chile over the weekend.
On the first night, Owens wrestled Tye Dillinger and Baron Corbin in a triple threat match for the United States title.
