Kevin Owens talks dream WM opponent and more in interview to promote Smackdown in Phoenix

To promote tonight’s Smackdown in Phoenix, Arizona at the Talking Stick Resort Arena – formerly known as the US Airways Center – Intercontinental champion Kevin Owens talked with our friend Jeramie McPeek about a variety of subjects including WrestleMania.

In the interview, Owens discussed missing WrestleMania 26 when it was in Phoenix because he had the mentality that the next WrestleMania he’d gone was because WWE took him there. He sort of broke that promise since he went to WrestleMania XXX to see his friend Daniel Bryan in the main event but this year it was WWE who brought him over as the NXT champion.

Owens also talked about his son who is a huge John Cena fan, winning the Intercontinental title, cutting promos, favorite heels, and his dream WrestleMania opponent.

“I’ve answered this question a couple times and my answer is always Brock Lesnar, because I’d just love to be in ring with him and see what it’s like. There’s nobody quite like Brock Lesnar, as far as pure strength and viciousness and everything. I’d love to see if I could hang with him and see how much could I hurt him,” Owens said.
