King of the Ring special to air on FOX this Sunday

In anticipation of the upcoming King of the Ring tournament that is set to start next month, WWE will be airing a King of the Ring Countdown special on FOX this coming Sunday, October 3.

It will be up to the respective FOX affiliates to set the time for the show with different markets airing the special during different time slots.

The one-hour special is described on television guides as “a countdown to the top ten all-time Kings of the Ring.”

WWE held the last King of the Ring in 2019 and there have been 12 of them so far, with the last one being King Corbin.

A tournament for the women is also on schedule with finals set for Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia on October 27.
