Kurt Angle reveals he’s coming back on WWE television

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle revealed on his podcast that he will be returning on WWE television for the “next month or so” in the lead-up to WrestleMania.

Angle said that he got a phone call to return as an on-screen character and he said that he’s really excited about it although he doesn’t fully know yet what the plan is.

Angle lost his last match in WWE against Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35 and has remained retired ever since. He appeared as a referee in NXT once and then turned down a job to manage Riddle on the main roster.

The Olympic gold medal winner was backstage at the Royal Rumble but was not used in any way, shape, or form on the broadcast.
