Lana signs a new five-year WWE deal

Ryan Satin of ProWrestlingSheet.com is reporting that Lana has signed a new, five-year WWE deal, keeping her at least until the end of 2024. The deal also calls for time off to take on other projects outside her WWE career.

Satin adds that her husband Rusev has not signed a new deal yet and is still negotiating on a new contract. Recently, Rusev responded to someone on Twitter who told him that it’s a shame he signed a new deal and he should leave, to which Rusev replied, “Who said I’ve re signed?”

The 34-year-old, whose real name is CJ Perry, started working for WWE in 2013, first in NXT and then moving to the main roster. She disappeared from WWE TV after WrestleMania but recently returned in an angle with Bobby Lashley.
