Las Vegas looking the likely destination for SummerSlam 2021

Several industry insiders are reporting that SummerSlam this year will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the brand new Allegiant Stadium, the home of the Las Vegas Raiders NFL team.

The 70,000-seater stadium has overtaken Madison Square Garden as the front-runner to host the event and with Vegas returning to normality and full capacity, it would enable WWE to run the show with no COVID-19 limitations.

The state-of-the-art stadium is an engineering marvel and is considered one of the best stadiums in America. The only downside of hosting SummerSlam in Las Vegas is August is pretty brutal when it comes to weather and fans making the trip will certainly feel the heat!

Las Vegas has not hosted a big four pay-per-view since 1993 and WrestleMania IX at Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino.
