Last live TV show inside the WWE ThunderDome tonight

WWE will have its last live television tapings inside the ThunderDome today, with next week’s Smackdown taking place in front of fans in Houston at the Toyota Center.

Monday’s Raw will be also from the ThunderDome but that episode has already been taped on Tuesday afternoon so the company will start dismantling their equipment inside the Yuengling Center following tonight’s broadcast.

The Yuengling Center on the campus of the University of Florida is the third location to host the WWE ThunderDome following the Amway Center and Tropicana Field. Originally, WWE’s contract ran through the beginning of August but they are vacating the premises earlier to hit the road.

The ThunderDome concept started on the Smackdown before SummerSlam last year following months of tapings inside the much-smaller WWE Performance Center. The WWE PC is now the home of NXT and was renamed the Capitol Wrestling Center.
