Lesnar says bumpy road ahead before any eventual UFC return

Speaking to TMZ at the WWE 2K17 launch party in New York on Friday night, former WWE and UFC Heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar admitted that his UFC career faces a bumpy road and he has a few challenges he has to overcome before he decides whether to go back to the Octagon for another fight.

“I’ve got a few challenges to overcome before I can get there but I don’t know. For right now I’m going to focus on my WWE career,” Lesnar said. “I wanted to step back into the Octagon and avenge my loss against diverticulitis. Sunday…I’m facing Randy Orton at SummerSlam and that’s really all that is on my mind.”

Lesnar also thanked his fans for their support when he went back to the UFC. “This has been a bumpy road, but I’m gonna get through this alright and there will be a day, maybe, that you might see me back in the Octagon.”

Brock’s first hearing with the Nevada State Athletic Commission is set for Tuesday and the NSAC will probably decide on a temporary suspension for his two drug test failures leading up to UFC 200.
