Lesnar to defend WWE title at MSG non-televised live event

Brock Lesnar’s road to WrestleMania will hit a tiny bit of a speed bump on March 5 as Paul Heyman informed his former client that he will have to defend the newly-won WWE title at the non-televised live event from Madison Square Garden in New York.

Heyman said that Lesnar will have to defend the title against Bobby Lashley and if Bobby Lashley does not pass the concussion protocol, he’ll find an opponent worthy of the world’s most famous arena.

Tickets for this show are available on Ticketmaster.com and following a rocky start, WWE is doing everything to get tickets moving.

Lashley, who was taken out of the Elimination Chamber match early without stepping foot inside the ring, is suffering from a serious shoulder injury and will be traveling to Birmingham, Alabama this week to get it checked out.

If surgery is required, Lashley will be out for several months before he’ll be able to return.
