License Global magazine names WWE in the 2019 Influentials report

License Global magazine, the leading news publication for the licensed consumer product industry, today released the 2019 edition of “The Influentials” report, which highlights the top 40 people and companies that have forever changed the business of brand extensions.

WWE made it in the report as one of those historical companies, noting that WWE “was one of the first companies to utilize licensing and consumer products into its business plan and remain successful for decades.” The report also highlights WWE’s early venture in the streaming business when it launched the WWE Network in 2014.

WWE joined brands such as The Simpsons, Coca-Cola, Star Wars, Hasbro, Mickey Mouse, Michael Jordan, and others in the historical portion of the report.
