WrestleMania week brings along several community outreach programs and this year in the San Francisco Bay Area it will be no different.
On Wednesday, Sin Cara, The Usos, Cameron, and Eva Marie will be visiting the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford and Ronald McDonald House at Stanford. Mattel will donate WWE action figures for the WWE Superstars and Divas to distribute to the patients at these two facilities.
On Thursday, Sheamus, Hornswoggle, and Rosa Mendes will visit the Horace Cureton Elementary School where over 100 students will participate in a reading celebration.
Also on Thursday, WWE’s Be A STAR campaign takes center stage at the Joseph George Middle School with Stephanie McMahon, The Miz, Damien Mizdow, Darren Young, Layla, and Renee Young attending along with representatives from GLAAD and Facebook.
The Fairmont San Francisco hotel plays host to a WrestleMania 31 media event on Friday at 11AM. Stephanie McMahon, John Cena, Roman Reigns, and Daniel Bryan will be in attendance and afterwards, Titus O’Neil, Darren Young, The Usos, Jerry Lawler, and Rosa Mendes will be touring the city via cable car stopping at several San Francisco landmarks.
On Friday as well there will be a Veteran Employment Panel and Networking Event at the 49ers Museum at Levi’s Stadium, with WWE, 49ers, Twitter, Hire Heroes USA, LinkedIn, and Orion International executives in attendance. Jack Swagger, Goldust, Tamina, and Lilian Garcia will be there to meet veterans.
John Cena will be hosting the annual Make-A-Wish pizza party at the Tech Museum in San Jose on Friday where he will induct 25 wish kids in the WWE’s Circle of Champions.
And finally on Saturday, WWE will be visiting the Peterson Middle School for an exhibition basketball game with Special Olympic athletes. Kofi Kingston and Cameron will serve as honorary coaches and The Fink will be the commentator.
