Liv Morgan vs Ronda Rousey announced for SummerSlam

The new Smackdown Women’s champion will have her first title defense at SummerSlam on July 30 as she takes on the women who she defeated for the title, Ronda Rousey, in a one-on-one match.

The match was set up last night on Friday Night Smackdown and it’s the sixth match on the card. Morgan won the Money In The Bank briefcase last week and then cashed in two hours later on an injured Rousey for her first title in WWE.

But a championship contenders match set for next week’s Smackdown between Liv and Natalya could alter the match as if Natalya wins, she will probably be added to the SummerSlam match and it is turned into a triple threat match instead.

The Usos vs The Street Profits rematch for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team titles will also take place at SummerSlam following their incredible match at MITB.
