Luchadores Fenix and Pentagon Jr. rumored to be heading to WWE

There are very strong rumors that Fenix and Pentagon Jr., two of the most exciting and popular luchadores, are on the verge of signing with WWE.

The 27-year-old Fenix currently wrestles for Lucha Libre AAA as well as Impact Wrestling and makes regular appearances on the independent circuit including Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. Fenix is also one of the cast of the Lucha Underground series which airs on El Rey Network. He currently holds the AAA Mega Championship and was also a Lucha Underground champion.

Pentagon Jr., who is 33 years old, wrestles for Lucha Underground and also spent seven years working for Lucha Libra AAA. Pentagon defeated Prince Puma, who is Ricochet, in a “loser must retire” match last year to become the new Lucha Underground champion and sent Puma to NXT. Pentagon also works for Impact Wrestling and won the Impact World title at the Redemption pay-per-view before eventually losing it back to Austin Aries. He was recently in a feud with Sammi Callihan which climaxed at the Slammiversary pay-per-view in a mask vs hair match. He recently wrestled Kenny Omega at the All In pay-per-view.
