Main Event moves exclusively to WWE Network

Going forward, WWE Main Event will now exclusively air on the WWE Network as the company’s contract with iON Television has expired.

Main Event started airing on the Network a few weeks ago with the encore being on iON rather than the other way round. While this adds another show exclusively to the Network, WWE will be getting less for their television rights within the United States with another program off regular television.

Main Event, which is taped just prior to Smackdown tapings every Tuesday night, will continue to air at 8PM EST on the WWE Network.
