Man who got Alberto Del Rio fired leaves WWE

The man responsible for the release of Alberto Del Rio has left WWE and the company is now seeking a replacement Social Media Manager on their careers website according to PWInsider.com.

Cody Barbieri, who had been with the company for around two years, managed to get Del Rio fired after he passed some racist remarks towards the former WWE champion. In return, Del Rio slapped him hard backstage at a Smackdown taping after Barbieri refused to apologize and was then released later in the week.

PWInsider.com says that it’s not known yet what led to Barbieri to quit the company but WWE sources confirmed that he is now gone.
