Many more corporate employees lose their job at WWE

PWInsider.com is reporting that there’s another round of layoffs among corporate employees currently taking place at WWE Headquarters.

The digital department has the most casualties at this point, with Jayar Donlan, the Executive Vice President of WWE’s Advanced Media Group, being the highest-profile individual given the pink slip. Donlan has been working for WWE for eight years according to his LinkedIn profile. Just last month, Donlan was included in Sport Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 list.

It looks like cost-cutting exercises are still a high priority for WWE even though the company is healthy financially. WWE recently closed the in-house talent management group just five weeks after it became operational and other departments are looking likely to either close or merge with others.
