Michael Cole misses Raw due to personal commitment

Raw and Smackdown television announcer Michael Cole made a very rare miss last night and was not at the season premiere of Monday Night Raw.

PWInsider.com reported that Cole is fine and had requested the week off a while ago due to a personal commitment. Kevin Patrick filled his place joining Wade Barrett for the broadcast.

Cole, now considered to be the voice of WWE, has only missed two televised events since he started doing commentary for WWE in 1997, a record that will likely never be broken.
