Mickie James offered full-time WWE deal

ProWrestlingSheet.com is reporting that WWE has offered Mickie James a new deal to join the main roster.

James made her WWE in-ring return at NXT Takeover: Toronto last month and wrestled Asuka, her first time in a WWE ring since her departure in 2008.

The 37-year-old has not formally accepted the deal yet but Smackdown would certainly benefit from having such a veteran join the weaker-than-Raw women roster.

After departing WWE in 2008, Mickie James joined TNA and had a run on the independent circuit as well. She is married to former TNA champion Nick “Magnus” Aldis.
