Minnesota Vikings Stadium EVP confirms WrestleMania is coming to the city

Lester Bagley, the Executive Vice President of the Minnesota Vikings stadium let it slip that WrestleMania is coming to the brand new US Bank Stadium in downtown Minneapolis.

In a video posted on the Vikings website taking a look at the stadium being built, Bagley confirmed that the 2018 Super Bowl and the 2019 Final 4 will be held at the new facility and, “We’ve got WrestleMania coming.” Bagley does not specify which year WrestleMania is coming to the city however the city’s convention authority submitted a bid for the show for WrestleMania 33 in 2017.

The still under construction fixed roof US Bank Stadium is a 73,000, $1 billion facility that is set to open in September 2016 and will be the home of the NFL’s Minnesota Vikings.
