Monday Night Raw TV Report for March 7th, 2015 – “A ‘Dirty’ Warning”

Introduction Segment: Video Promo

A recap of Vince and Shane’s rivalry plays, and then we go live to the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois!

Segment #2: Arena Promo

Shane McMahon prances out to a loud ovation and gets to business. He talks about how bad Vince has been for the WWE lately, as well as The Authority, after WrestleMania, he claims it is his “destiny” to rule Raw and all the negativities will end.

The lights dim and the gong of The Undertaker sounds, but instead it is Mr. McMahon himself. He is holding a picture of himself and Shane, reminding Shane of their time together when he was a child. Vince then stomps on the picture and reveals that Stephanie gets everything from the will. He brings out security to take Shane away, but Shane is warns them he does not want a part and will walk on his own. They do not listen, so Shane punches away and glares at Vince.

Match #1: Single – Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens VS. Neville (Non-Title)

They lockup as Owens shoves Neville into the corner; he grabs him in a side headlock to wear him down. Neville runs Owens off the ropes, but Kevin hits back with a shoulder-block. He kicks away until Neville kicks back, but Owens stomps on him and gives a senton-splash to take control.

He goes for another, but Neville lifts his knees to block. Neville kicks multiple times, then splashes him in the corner and gives him a running-hurricanrana. “The Man That Gravity Forgot” runs off the ropes, but lands on his feet as Kevin moved. The I.C. Champ throws Neville into the stairs.

Owens is back in control with a grounding chinlock, and gives him a German-Suplex, but is countered again and put to the floor with a Shooting Star Press from the top turnbuckle! Neville gives him another one in the ring from the canvas, but only gets two! He moves from a springboard-moonsault attempt, then hits his Red Arrow Tornado Splash and covers! 1 – 2 – Owens raises his shoulder! Neville tries again, but is grabbed by his trunks and rolled-up for the victory!

Winner via Pinfall: Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens

Post-match, Kevin continues the attack until newish music plays and out runs Sami Zayn! The NXT star and friend/rival of Owens makes his Raw return and saves Neville. Kevin escapes as Neville and Zayn look on.

Segment #3: Video Promo

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Triple H’s assault on both Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose on consecutive Raws is shown.

Segment #4: Backstage Promo

Dolph Ziggler and Zack Ryder are chatting when Principle Owner Stephanie McMahon walks up. They banter about their positions on Raw, then McMahon books him in a 3-on-1 bout against The League of Nations.

Brie Bella makes her entrance and will be wrestling, next!

Match #2: Single – Brie Bella VS. Summer Rae

An elbow/collar tie-up begins, then Summer takes Brie down a couple times with a slam and roll-through. She gets out of a half-crab attempt, then stomps on Brie and locks her in a surfboard stretch. Summer kicks, but Brie blocks and gives her kicks like Daniel Bryan. She hits a front-dropkick then a running-knee, but misses a crossbody.

Lana’s music plays, and she walks to the ring, distracting Brie, and allowing Rae to roll her up for the 1 – 2 – 3!

Winner via Pinfall: Summer Rae

Post-match, Lana gives Brie a sit-down facebuster and walks away smiling.

Segment #5: Arena Promo

“The Lunatic Fringe” walks to the ring, then stands with a fierce look. He declares that he will ruin the WrestleMania plans by winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship this Saturday at Roadblock. Ambrose lists all that he will ask HHH to do after defeating him, but he won’t wear a suit.

The WWE World Heavyweight Champion joins on stage, informing Dean and the crowd that none of them can attain what he has in his life. He tells Ambrose that he is just a “step,” not a Roadblock, on the way to WrestleMania, but that he will put a “Roadblock” in front of him tonight, making him take on Bray Wyatt.

Match #3: Three-On-One (Elimination Rules) – Dolph Ziggler VS. The League of Nations (Rusev, King Barrett, and Sheamus)

Dolph and Barrett start by measuring each other out, then Barrett begins to hammer away. He misses a clothesline and Dolph hits a dropkick, but is given a jawbreaker on the top rope by Sheamus, allowing Barrett to drop him with the Winds of Change Tornado-Slam for two!

The League dominate for a while until Ziggler manages to eliminate Wade with a superkick; his momentum doesn’t last long as Rusev kicks him hard and Sheamus finishes with The Brogue Kick!

Segment #6: Video Promo

A career retrospective of Shane McMahon’s career, with comments from John “Bradshaw” Layfield and The Big Show, is shown.

Segment #7: Backstage Promo

Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks argue on who would’ve won their #1 Contender’s bout last week, then Lynch wants them to focus on tonight’s match with Team B.A.D, up next.

Match #4: Tag-Team – Team B.A.D. (Naomi and Tamina) VS. Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks

(Note: Divas Champion Charlotte and Ric Flair are watching from the commentator’s area.) Tamina and Becky start out with Tamina controlling until Lynch rolls under and makes the hot-tag to Sasha. “The Boss” is all over Naomi, but on the outside, Tamina slings Lynch into the barricade. In the ring, Banks hits the Backstabber on Naomi, then locks on the Bank Statement, forcing her to give in!

Winners via Pinfall: Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks

Post-match, Divas Champion Charlotte attacks Banks and Lynch, who will both challenge Charlotte at WrestleMania for the championship in a Triple-Threat.

Segment #8: Backstage Promo

R-Truth is trying to make it up to Goldust by giving him a pizza, but “The Bizarre One” is lactose-intolerant, so he gets mad at Truth for not knowing and storms away. R follows, apologizing.

Up next, the Tag-Team Championship is on the line!

Match #5: Tag-Team for the Tag-Team Championships – The New Day (Kofi Kingston, and Big E.) (with New Day member Xavier Woods) (Champions) VS. Chris Jericho and A.J. Styles (Challengers)

Jericho and Kofi begin, trading hits. “Y2J’ chops Kofi a couple times then catches him out of a dropkick-attempt and sling-shots him over to the floor. Big E. is dumped out, then both A.J. and Jericho plancha over, then pose in the ring.

Big E. is hitting Chris now, then he and Kofi deliver multiple corner-stomps. Jericho hits an enziguri on Kofi, then gets the hot-tag to Styles! He is all over Kingston with quick hits and a springboard-moonsault-reverse-DDT! 1 – 2 – Kofi gets his shoulder up! Kingston counters with a jawbreaker then sends A.J. to the apron; Styles springboards but lands on Big E and Kingston dives off the other turnbuckle for the double-team Big Ending. Langston covers, but it is broken by Chris, who shoved himself and Kofi into the cover!

Jericho Lionsaults Kingston, then tags in A.J. who gives a springboard-450-Splash! 1 – 2 – Big pulls Kofi out, breaking the pin. “The Phenomenal One” rockets over the top rope with a springboard-forearm onto Langston, then gets back in the ring and gives Kingston multiple chops and kicks. Kofi manages a modified-inside cradle for two! Jericho is tagged in and locks on the Walls of Jericho; Kofi struggles to the ropes, but Styles runs at Woods on the outside, who was trying to help him.

Big runs A.J. into the corner of the barricade, then goes into the ring. Jericho tries the Walls on him, but Langston pushes away and fends of a Codebreaker too, then drops Chris with the Big Ending!

Winners via Pinfall and STILL Tag-Team Champions: The New Day

Post-match, A.J. comforts Jericho, but is met with a Codebreaker! Jericho drives him down two more times with the Codebreaker, then shoves their t-shirt in his mouth and yells at him.

Segment #9: Backstage Promo

Rene Young interviews Jericho, who is infuriated because A.J. was getting the cheers instead of him, in the city Jericho debuted in the (then) WWF back in 1999.

Match #6: Single – United States Champion/Lucha Dragon member Kalisto VS. Tyler Breeze (Non-Title)

Tyler kicks right away, but Kalisto leaps over and headscissors him into the corner. He dives off the turnbuckle, but is met with a kick! Breeze pounds away on Kalisto’s chest with elbows, then clamps on a grounding chinlock. Kalisto breaks out of it with a jawbreaker and gives Tyler a rolling-kick and a springboard-corkscrew-crossbody. The U.S. Champion spins around and drives Tyler to the mat with the Solita-Del-Sol and covers for the 1 – 2 – 3!

Winner via Pinfall: United States Champion Kalisto

Segment #10: Video Promo

Its is announced that the late Ray Traylor, a.k.a. The Big Boss Man, will be inducted into the Hall-of-Fame; a montage of his career is aired.

Segment #11: Backstage Promo

United States Champion Kalisto is talked to by JoJo, who wonders about his first WrestleMania. After saying he loved watching Rey Mysterio and the late Eddie Guerrero, Ryback meets him and also talks about WrestleMania. He wants to know where his spot is, and puts over Kalisto while giving him advice. He tells the U.S. Titleholder to view his next match.

The Social Outcasts make their entrance and talk about Ryback defeating Adam Rose last week; Curtis Axel says that won’t happen again.

Match #7: Single – Curtis Axel (with Social Outcast members Adam Rose, Heath Slater, and Bo Dallas) VS. Ryback

It is a little even at first, with Axel getting the upper hand for a bit. Ryback pounds away on the mat then drops him with Shellshock to complete this!

Winner via Pinfall: Ryback

Segment #12: Office Promo

Stephanie talks to Vince about what Shane may do at WrestleMania, telling him to be careful and inquiring if he gave this a lot of thought.

Dean Ambrose makes his entrance and faces Bray Wyatt, next!

Match #8: Single – Dean Ambrose VS. Bray Wyatt

They lockup and Bray punches away, then Dean hits back with fists. He turns Wyatt into a modified Indian-Deathlock, then gives him numerous elbows in the corner. Bray reverses an Irish Whip into the corner, and takes over.

Commercials.

Bray is still dominating , but they give each other a clothesline on the outside. Both slug away in the ring, but Dean gets the better until he is clotheslined harshly. 1 – 2 – Ambrose kicks out! Wyatt places Ambrose on backward on the top turnbuckle, but Dean fights him off and attempts his Dirty Deeds DDT! Bray backs away and catches Dean as he dove through the ropes in a Sister Abigail position; Ambrose battles out of that but is slammed into the barrier!

Bray gets a wild-eyed look, then goes at Dean. “The Lunatic Fringe” hits back with the slingshot-clothesline, and soars off the top turnbuckle with an elbow-axe-handle! The lights go out with The Wyatt’s video, then Harper, Strowman, and Rowan are on the apron. They quadruple-team Ambrose, causing a DQ.

Winner via Disqualification: Dean Ambrose

Post-match, Ambrose is laid-out as The Wyatt Family poses, then WWE World Heavyweight Champion Triple H saunters out. He undoes his tie and puts the belt over his shoulder. Bray gets in “The Game’s” face though, and the two stare-down. The fans love this potential idea, as Bray pets the championship and backs away with The Family in tow.

It is just Dean and HHH left, and as “The Cerebral Assassin” takes off his jacket and goes to the announce table, tearing it apart. He gets back in the ring, but Ambrose one-ups him with his Dirty Deeds DDT! Dean clutches the WWE World Heavyweight Championship as Triple H is out-cold to close the show!
