Monday Night Raw TV report for 04/15/2024

Arena: Centre Bell
City: Montreal, QB, Canada

Out to the ring first is the Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley who is coming out with her arm in a sling. Rhea says she is going to be out of action for quite a few months and she is being told she must vacate the Women’s Championship. Rhea blames Liv Morgan then warns whoever wins the championship she will be back for blood.

Liv Morgan comes out and security immediately stops her. Adam Pearce gets out of the ring to help. They were able to keep the women apart, but Rhea decked a security guard.

Rhea meets up with the rest of Judgment Day backstage and after a group hug, she says goodbye.

Sheamus VS. Ivar

After hitting Ivar with the kneecap, Sheamus hits the Brogue Kick and gets the win on his return to the ring.

Winner: Sheamus

Paul “Triple H” Levesque is next to the ring. Adam Pearce is in the ring with him. They call out Awesome Truth. After congratulating them he said from now on they will be known as the World Tag Team champions and then presented them with new title belts.

Truth goes on a rampage about Triple H being a magician then called him Tommaso Ciampa. Triple H presented the new titles to Awesome Truth and looked at Pearce and said good luck and left the ring.

The Creed Brothers VS. The New Day VS. DIY in a #1 contenders match for the World Tag Team championship.

As Woods went for the pin on Julius Creed, DIY hit meet in the middle on Woods and got the win.

Winners: DIY

Jackie Redmond tried to interview Drew McIntyre who only got mad and kicked a TV and walked away.

Candace LeRae & Indi Hartwell VS. Maxxine Dupri & Ivy Nile

Maxxine makes the tag, but the ref didn’t see it and Indi comes in and kicks Maxxine and drags Candace on top and the referee turns around and counts.

Winners: Indi Hartwell & Candace LeRae

A video package of Damien Priest was shown then the Judgment Day planned for tonight’s events.

Jackie Redmond interviewed Chad Gable who is ready for his title match with Sami tonight.

Andrade VS. Dominik Mysterio

Andrade wins with a spinning neck breaker type maneuver.

Winner: Andrade

After the match JD McDonagh and Dominik attacked Andrade and Ricochet came out to make the save.

After a video is played of what happened on Smackdown, Cathy Kelly interviewed Jey Uso who said he told Jimmy to come with him, but he has to concentrate on Finn Balor tonight.

Piper Niven & Chelsea Green VS. Kayden Carter & Katan Chance

As Carter attempted a pin on Green, Piper came in and gave her a cross body and Green rolled her up for the pin.

Winners: Piper Niven & Chelsea Green

Cathy Kelly interviewed Liv Morgan and said everyone is treating her like the “bad guy”, but Rhea got exactly what she deserved, and this is just the beginning of the Liv Morgan revenge tour.

The new Undisputed champion the American Nightmare Cody Rhodes is out to the ring next. Cody thanked Seth Rollins and talked about his future possible opponent. He talked about The Rock and what is going on with the Bloodline. He then brought Jey Uso out and wished him luck in his match.

Cathy Kelly interviewed Nia Jax. Nia said the title will be hers.

Main Event Jey Uso VS. Finn Balor

Balor sneaks out and attacked Jey before the bell. Finn missed with the Coup de Grace and Jey was able to hit Finn with a spear then the splash off the top rope and get the win.

Winner: Main Event Jey Uso

After the match, Damian Priest came out to stand face to face with Jey. Then JD McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio attack Jey and Finn joined in until Jey superkicked Dominik on the outside then threw JD into Finn and was able to escape through the crowd.

The camera follows Jey clear to the back and he runs into Sami Zayn outside. Sami says he is going in the same way he did all those years ago at his first event at this building, the front door and through the crowd.

Michael Cole announced they will crown a new women’s champion next week.

As Chad Gable is shown getting ready for his match, Big Bronson Reed comes in and warns him whoever wins will answer to him.

Sami Zayn VS. Chad Gable for the WWE Intercontinental Championship

Sami was able to hit the Helluva Kick and retain the title.

Winner and still WWE Intercontinental Champion: Sami Zayn

After the match, Sami helped Chad to his feet and Chad raised his arm. Sami then went out to celebrate with his family and as he was hugging his wife, Chad came back and gave Sami a back suplex and continued to punish Sami.

As Raw goes off the air, Chad was standing on the second rope holding Sami in an ankle lock while Sami’s leg was bent on a turnbuckle.
