Monday Night Raw TV report for 06/20/2022

Arena: Pinnacle Bank Arena
City: Lincoln, NE

Raw begins with a memoriam to former referee Tim White who passed away.

Out first is Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair. She announces she was looking forward to her match against Rhea Ripley, but Ripley will not be medically cleared, so tonight there will be a fatal five-way match with Alexa Bliss, Carmella, Liv Morgan, Asuka and Becky Lynch to see who she will face at Money in the Bank.

Becky Lynch comes out and says she will win, Asuka comes out laughing and makes fun of Lynch, Liv Morgan comes out says she is always ready for a fight and is already qualified to be in the Money in the Bank ladder match but she would gladly turn that in for a match for the championship. Carmella comes out and says she knows why everyone else is out here and they were all former champions but why are you out here Liv?

Carmella suggests kicking Morgan out of the match and making it a fatal four way. Carmella then says Morgan only got in the Money in the Bank ladder match by riding Alexa Bliss’ coattails.

Alexa comes out and says Carmella can’t be successful on her own. As they argue, Bianca interrupts and says we all know you can all run your mouths, but the WWE Universe is ready for some action.

Carmella VS. Asuka VS. Alexa Bliss VS. Liv Morgan VS. Becky Lynch for championship match against Bianca Belair at Money in the Bank.

Asuka rolls Lynch up but only for a 2 count, Lynch then manhandle slams Asuka for a one count with Bliss hitting Twisted Bliss and covering both Lynch and Asuka for a two count until Carmella and Liv break up the count.

Bliss and Asuka try to double team Lynch but Lynch ducks and Bliss gets the kick intended for Lynch, Lynch throws Asuka out of the ring then gets hit with a double knee from Liv but Liv tries another move and Lynch holds onto the ropes. Lynch hits a manhandle slam on Liv only to get pulled off and out of the ring by Asuka.

Asuka hits a kick on Lynch, Bliss then hits Asuka and goes over to Liv, Bliss goes up for another Twisted Bliss, but Liv got her knees up and Liv turns around into a superkick from Carmella who pins Liv.

Winner: Carmella

Back from Break, Lynch is yelling at Adam Pearce about her loss and says she is on the poster and should be in the match. So, Pearce makes a match with her and Asuka for tonight with the winner getting in the Money in the Bank Match.

Mr. McMahon’s music plays, and he comes out to the ring. He says tonight marks the 1,517th edition of Monday Night Raw, continuing to make it the longest reigning episodic show in history and announces John Cena’s return next week.

Riddle VS. Omos in a Money in the Bank qualifying match

Omos takes immediate advantage, ramming Riddle into the corner hard then standing on Riddle who has his Ribs tapped up for this match. Omos goes for a choke but Riddle hits Omos with a knee. Omos grabs Riddle and throws him across the ring. Riddle gets up and hits a double leg to Omos then goes for an RKO, but Omos catches him with a double hand choke slam for the pin.

Winner: Omos

After the match, MVP tells Omos to hit the chokeslam again and Omos picks Riddle up and slams him again.

Seth Rollins makes his way out as earlier Riddle brought up about what Rollins did to Cody Rhodes and wanted to hit him over the back with a ladder.

Rollins gets in the ring as Riddle was struggling to get to his feet. Rollins attacks Riddle and throws him out of the ring.

Rollins was saying he was the only one that can defeat Roman Reigns and if you thought his first cash in was something, you haven’t seen anything yet. Riddle back in and hits Rollins but gets a stomp to his head. Rollins leaves laughing hysterically.

It was announced that Roman Reigns will face Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam.

Theory comes out and brags about being the best. He then oils his chest up and flexes.

As he says he is better than Bobby Lashley, Lashley comes in the ring, Theory tells the crowd to shut up he needs to take a selfie and he takes it but when he looks at it, he is shocked and turns around and Lashley squirts water in his face. Lashley then says the United States Championship is coming home with him.

Theory in the back said he just came from Adam Pearce’s office and he made a recommendation of Lashley facing 3 opponents in a gauntlet match tonight to get a shot at the championship.

Jey Uso VS. Angelo Dawkins

Dawkins goes for a splash in the corner, but Jey moves and hits Dawkins with a neck breaker but only for a 2 count. Dawkins hits the double underhook neck breaker, but Jey kicks out at 2. Jey hits a superkick and goes up to the top but Dawkins grabs Jey out of the air picks him up for the sky-high slam for the win.

Winner: Angelo Dawkins

We see Ezekiel walk in with someone playing the guitar and it is Elias. They sit on a couch and talk about how great it is to be out in front of the WWE Universe.

Elias is in the ring and dedicates his first song to his brother Ezekiel. Kevin Owens interrupts and says nobody wants this concert. And calls Elias a liar. Owens says special effects today proves nothing. Owens grabs the guitar out of Elias’ hand and throws it out of the ring. Elias hits a knee and smashes one of the other guitars in the ring over Owens’ back.

In the back, Owens falls coming in and Kevin Patrick walked up and asked if he is convinced if Ezekiel and Elias are not the same person. Owens wants a match and Ezekiel walks up and says he heard and accepts.

Bobby Lashley VS. Chad Gable in a gauntlet match

Action spills out of the ring and Lashley knocks Gable’s head off the ring post. Back inside, Lashley with a suplex after a long-time hanging Gable upside down walking around the ring with him. Gable somehow gets to his feet, Lashley goes for the spear but Gable reverses and locks in an ankle lock. Lashley out of the ankle lock, Gable runs up the ropes hits a quick moonsault but only for a 2 count.

Gable then tries to pick up Lashley, but this time Lashley reverses, and catches Gable in a Hurt Lock and Gable quickly tapped out.

Winner: Bobby Lashley

Bobby Lashley VS. Otis in a gauntlet match #2

Otis immediately attacks Lashley after the bell. Action outside the ring Otis splashes Lashley on the floor.

After break the action is back in the ring, with Lashley on the mat, Otis climbs the ropes, but Lashley moves, and Otis falls flat on the mat. Otis struggles to his feet, Lashley goes for the hurt lock, but Otis is too wide and backs Lashley into the corner. Lashley then hits Otis with a spear and goes for the pin but Gable back in to beat down Lashley more.

Winner by DQ: Bobby Lashley

Bobby Lashley VS. Theory in a gauntlet match #3

Theory goes immediately to work on a laid-out Bobby Lashley, Theory goes for A town/Down, but Lashley reverses into a cradle for the pin.

Winner: Bobby Lashley

In the back, Bianca Belair is asked if she is surprised with Carmella’s win tonight and will challenge her for the Raw Women’s Championship at Money in the Bank. Belair says yes and no and gives Carmella credit for being a former champion and says she is always ready. Carmella then attacked her and yelled at Belair and said, “always ready huh Bianca”.

The Miz is out for MizTV. The Miz brings out the phenomenal AJ Styles. After trading jabs, Styles hits The Miz in the head with a microphone only to be attacked by Ciampa.

AJ Styles VS. Ciampa

The end saw the AJ hit the phenomenal forearm for the win.

Winner: AJ Styles

After the match, The Miz came back in from the commentary table and tried to attack AJonly to get hit with a Styles Clash.

Veer Mahaan is interviewed and says he loves carnage, and no one knows how to stop him. Then says he will not be stopped. Fear Veer!

Becky Lynch VS. Asuka in a Money in the Bank qualifying match

Becky attacks Asuka before she even made it to the ring. While both ladies were out of the ring the referee count got to 9 but both slid in. A few reverse roll ups for a couple of 2 counts they get back to their feet and Asuka hit the kick right to the side of Lynch’s head for the pin.

Winner: Asuka
