Monday Night Raw TV Report for June 13th, 2016

Introduction Segment: Video Promo and In Memoriam

The regular Raw video plays, then we go live to the arena. The roster is out on stage, with the Titantron displaying “We Stand With Orlando” and a ribbon with a combination of rainbow and the United States Flag colors, remembering yesterday’s tragedy. Lillian Garcia requests that everyone stand for a moment of silence.

Segment #2: Arena Promo

Tag-Team Champions The New Day talk about their Fatal-4-Way Tag-Team Championship Match at Money In The Bank this Sunday. Before Kofi can continue, Xavier and Big E. poke fun at his shoes, which they think are “old people” footwear.

Enzo Amore and Big Cass interrupt with their usual intro. After declaring that they will win the Tag Tiles at M.I.T.B., Cass insinuates that the unicorns on their head are used for something else, and also wonders about Kofi’s shoes. He goes on about Francesca – Xavier’s Trombone – saying that Amore had her “out all night.”

The double-entendres continue until The Vaudevillians stop them. Aiden English and Simon Gotch are not fond of these, but English does like singing out (very-well) that they will be the new Tag-Team Champions!

The last team involved – The Club – join. Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows make their presence known and want to get started now!

Reigns puts it back to Rollins that he did not accomplish anything on his own, as he had the help of The Authority, and J & J Security. Seth does put over Reigns’ instead of Ambrose, since Roman defeated Dean, Sheamus, and Triple H to become WWE World Heavyweight Champion, three times; but Rollins says Roman still hasn’t beat him.

Seth walks away but then pushes Dean into Roman; he goes for the Pedigree on Reigns but instead is hit by Ambrose, and then with a Superman Punch from Roman. Dean suddenly spins Reigns around and drives him to the mat with his Dirty Deeds DDT!

Segment #9: Office Promo

Shane and Kane are talking about their history when Kevin Owens walks in. He wants to talk to Stephanie, but she isn’t available, so he rats out Alberto Del Rio for being late. Del Rio barges in, and he and Owens yell in Spanish and French, respectively. Kane tries to settle this by having them tag together against The Lucha Dragons; while they don’t like it, Shane does, and adds that if they lose, then Sin Cara and Kalisto will take their MITB spots instead!

Match #4: Single – Sami Zayn VS. Cesaro

Cesaro and Zayn lockup and trade armlocks. Sami flips over Cesaro and twirls him with a headscissors. Cesaro catches Zayn off a run with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker for a near-fall, then uppercuts him as Zayn springs off the rope!

He gives “The Phenomenal One” credit for his championships that he’s won across many wrestling promotions in the last fifteen years, and asks him to come out. Styles obliges and mocks Cena, but John dresses him down for not committing to one-on-one like so many people have wanted to see for the last fifteen years to prove who is “the best.”

A.J. retorts that if he was in WWE fifteen years ago, then Cena would not be where he is now! Cena offers two different contracts; one is just A.J. Styles VS. John Cena, and one is John Cena VS. A.J. Styles (w/ The Club). Cena demands Styles to “man-up” and prove that he can without help. Again, A.J. obliges and signs the paper without The Club’s name on it; they have agreed to a strictly one-on-one match at Money In The Bank!

Match #5: Tag-Team – Alberto Del Rio and Kevin Owens VS. The Lucha Dragons (Sin Cara and Kalisto)

(Stipulation: If Del Rio and Owens do not win, they will be replaced in M.I.T.B. with The Lucha Dragons.)

Alberto is aggressive right away on Kalisto, hanging him upside down in the corner and pounding away with kicks and punches. Owens orders him to stop so they don’t get disqualified, and then they switch. Kevin and Del Rio continue to play games with each other, until The Luchas double-dive through the ropes onto them to the floor!

Commercials.

Kalisto is perched on the top turnbuckle and soars off with a seated-senton to Alberto! He is quickly taken over, and Owens and Alberto dominate, albeit not cohesively. Del Rio shoves Owens to the outside, but eats Solida-Del-Sol right after! Alberto rolls to the floor, but Kevin puts him back in the ring to avoid the count-out.

Cara capitalizes with a Senton-Bomb, but Kevin breaks up the pin. Both Del Rio and Kalisto are hurled into the barricade, and Owens drives Sin to the canvas with his Pop-Up Powerbomb to retain their spots in MITB!

Winners via Pinfall: Alberto Del Rio and Kevin Owens

Kane walks away, and then Shane and Steph make Cesaro a ring announcer and Alberto a timekeeper for Jericho and Ambrose’s main-event match!
