Monday Night Raw TV report for 07/03/2023

Raw open in memory of Darren “Droz” Drozdov who passed away last week.

A recap of Money in the Bank was shown.

The WWE World Heavyweight champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins is out to the ring first and calls himself the host for tonight’s festivities. As Seth talks about Money in the Bank and the results, he is soon interrupted by The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes.

Cody no sooner says So… and Brock Lesnar’s music comes on. Cody runs out of the ring and a fight between Brock and Cody started in the aisle. Brock throws Cody back in the ring as Seth gets out of the ring and Brock goes for an F5 and Cody reverses and hits the Cody Cutter and rolls out of the ring. Cody is alone standing in the middle of the ring as Brock walks backwards back down the aisle.

After the commercial break, Seth is back in the ring. He said he is looking forward to seeing who the next person in line for a shot at his title is. He is interrupted by the Judgment Day. Damian says he knows someone beside him might want to face Seth tonight and Rhea says she is already defending her Women’s championship tonight, but Dom Dom wants to fight Seth tonight. Seth is going to let the audience decide. And the crowd cheers and Seth says you got your answer I will see you punks later tonight.

Damian Priest VS. Shinsuke Nakamura

Shinsuke goes for Kinshasa, but Damian counters and gives Shinsuke a huge clothesline and then South of Heaven for the win.

Winner: Damian Priest

Ronda Rousey is out to the ring next, clearly in a bad mood after what happened at Money in the Bank. Ronda gets in the ring and Shayna Baszler comes out and says she and everyone else is tired of her trying to speak on a microphone and Ronda says fine then why after 10 years did you do what you did. Shayna says the only thing she owes everyone is an apology for bringing her into this business.

Shayna said she did not see Ronda putting rings together and she just waltzed her way in the door right into WrestleMania. And someone is her that can finally shut her up. Ronda then hit Shayna and they get back in the ring and Shayna gets Ronda in an ankle lock. Rousey finally kicked Shayna off her and Shayna hit Ronda in the face with a knee.

In the back, Maxine has Otis in a headlock. Gable then says they are going to smack the Viking Raiders with the biggest patriotism they have ever seen.

The new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez are introduced and take a seat next to the announce table.

Tag Team Turmoil match for the number one contenders for the Women’s tag team championship

Candace Lerae & Indie Hartwell VS. Sonya Deville & Chelsea Green

Sonya hits a knee to Candace’s face and Sonya & Chelsea get the first win.

Winners: Sonya Deville & Chelsea Green

Sonya Deville & Chelsea Green VS. Emma & Nikki Cross

As Nikki tags Emma in she rolls out of the ring and asks Candace if she was ok and when Emma tried to tag her back in, Nikki is on her knees on the floor pulling her hair and talking to herself. This allowed for Chelsea to hit the unprettier and Sonya a knee to the face of Emma and get another win.

Winners: Sonya Deville & Chelsea Green

Sonya Deville & Chelsea Green VS. Dana Brooke & Teagan Nox

Chelsea hits the unprettier on Nox and Sonya hits the knee and they get another win.

Winners: Sonya Deville & Chelsea Green

Sonya Deville & Chelsea Green VS. Kayden Carter & Katona Chance

As Carter rolled up green, Green kicks out and Carter ran to the ropes and Deville from the outside hit Carter and Green hit the Unprettier and won the Turmoil match.

Winners of the Tag Team Turmoil Match: Chelsea Green & Sonya Deville

Becky Lynch comes to the ring next. Becky calls out Trish Stratus. Trish comes out with a cast on her nose. Trish said she would love to fight Becky, but she is not medically cleared because she broke her face. Becky then challenged Zoey Stark. Becky then says Zoey was better than Trish and Trish says no one is better than me because I am the greatest of all time.

After Trish agreed to let Zoey fight Becky she stopped and said she had a medical appointment, but Zoey can face Becky next week.

Jackie Redmond, the new interviewer, interviews Cody Rhodes in the arena, Cody says he will fight Brock Lesnar any night and he will fight Brock Lesnar every night.

Maxine Dupri & Alpha Academy VS. The Viking Raiders & Valhalla

With the men taken out at ringside after a Gable moonsault, Valhalla grabbed Maxine and threw her into the corner and ran after her, but Maxine jumped and pulled her down with a pin and the win.

Winners: Maxine Dupri & Alpha Academy

Jackie Redmond interviews Ricochet and she asked him about his interaction with Logan Paul. He says he respects Paul can hang and Paul got in his face which makes it personal, and he is issuing a challenge to meet him next week on Monday Night Raw face to face.

Rhea Ripley VS. Natalya for the WWE Women’s World Championship

Natalya attacks Rhea as she is introduced like Rhea did to her last time they met. Rhea rolls outside and Natalya goes after her only for Rhea to roll back in the ring and as Natalya gets in the ring Rhea kicks her and gives her a riptide to retain the title.

Winner and Still WWE Women’s World Champion: Rhea Ripley

Tommaso Ciampa says finally The Miz has that spark back in his eyes. The Miz said he wants Ciampa to bring the best version of himself and he will be the best version of the Miz.

In the back Iyo Sky walks up to Rhea and holds the Money in the Bank Briefcase up and Rhea told her try her and it would be her last mistake.

Matt Riddle VS. Giovanni Vinci

As Vinci locked Riddle in an ankle lock, Riddle rolled up Vinci and held him down for the three count.

Winner: Matt Riddle

Imperium immediately jumped Riddle and beat down Riddle until Drew McIntyre who returned at Money in the Bank comes out to make the save.

Riddle thanked Drew for saving him and then asked him to team up to face Imperium next week. Drew agreed.

Dominik Mysterio VS. Seth “Freakin” Rollins

As Rollins sets up for the stomp, Priest causes the disqualification.

Winner by DQ: Seth “Freakin” Rollins

Priest then continued to beat down Rollins. After helping Priest beat down Rollins, Dominik handed Priest his Briefcase and told him to cash in. As Priest was getting in the ring, Finn Balor arrives and knocks Rollins into Priest knocking Priest down. An argument started between Priest and Balor and as Rollins escapes the ring, he gives Dominik a pedigree on the floor.
