Monday Night Raw TV report for 07/18/2022

Arena: Amalie Arena

Raw opens with Titus O’Neil, who says he has reached the pinnacle of his career by being the WWE Global Ambassador and one thing we need all over the world is goodwill. He said they will never talk about politics or religion or anything that can divide people. Because the WWE is a safe haven for everyone to have a good time. Then says that is exactly what we are about to do here tonight and “Welcome to Monday Night Raw.”

Becky Lynch comes out and the winner of the Bianca Belair and Carmella Raw Women’s championship match will face her at SummerSlam.

Bianca Belair comes out and says what Becky did last week was foul because she had to cause her to lose by count out last week. Bianca said she will kick her “caboose” back to Ireland.

Carmella comes out and tells Bianca she is making the biggest mistake of her career overlooking her. And if she happens to get counted out tonight, she also loses her championship.

As Bianca cut her off, Lynch and Carmella attack Belair and lay Belair out in the ring.

Bianca Belair VS. Carmella for the Raw Women’s Championship

If Bianca gets counted out, she loses the championship.

Becky Lynch sits at the announce table.

Carmella goes right after Belair, Belair comes back. Carmella trying to get a count out victory by throwing Belair in the timekeeper’s area, but Belair beats the count, Carmella attacks her again and gets thrown back outside for an 8 count and rolls back in.

Back from break, Carmella gets a couple 2 counts, Belair still has strength left and holds Carmella up for a suplex, Belair then hits the KOD for the win.

Winner and Still Raw Women’s Champion: Bianca Belair

After the match, Becky Lynch grabs the title and gets in the ring and instead of handing the title to Belair drops it at her feet and spits at her and walks out of the ring.

Sarah Schreiber interviews The Street Profits who asks what they think about the special guest referee at SummerSlam Jeff Jarrett. They said they are walking out the new champions at SummerSlam, no matter who the referee is. Omos and MVP come in and challenge Angelo Dawkins to a match tonight.

Next the KO Show with guest Riddle.

Owens said he knows you all missed him but before he tells us where he has been, let’s bring out his guest, Riddle.

Riddle thanks Owens for having him on the show and KO says he admires how calm, cool, and collected he always is. Owens tells him RK-Bro was great, but KO-Bro could be better.

Owens begins to talk about Randy Orton and Riddle says he is done talking and jumps up and Seth Rollins music hits then stops then starts again then Rollins sneak attacks Riddle. Rollins hits a stomp then a second stomp to leave Riddle laying in the ring.

Seth Rollins is interviewed in the back and is interrupted by Ezekiel saying that’s not how its going to work. Rollins said he can stomp him, his brothers and Ezekiel said not to talk about his family. Rollins says stay out of my business and Ezekiel said your business is about to pick up.

Rey Mysterio VS. Damian Priest

Before the match, Priest says he guarantees Dominik joins them tonight.

As Mysterio had things going his way, Balor gets on the apron, but Dominik comes to get him down, but Rey is able to kick him down, Rey is able to hit 619 on Priest, but Priest overpowers him with the over the head powerbomb and pins Rey.

Winner: Damian Priest

After the match, Balor slides in 2 chairs. As they place one chair under Rey’s head and call for Dominik to join them or they take Rey’s head off, Dominik covers his father and says he will join the Judgement Day just stop. And Priest says it doesn’t work that way and Balor hits him with a chair. Rey was able to pull Dominik out of the ring with him.

Ezekiel VS. Seth “Freakin” Rollins

A good effort by Ezekiel in a very good match but Rollins caught Ezekiel with the Stomp for the win.

Winner: Seth “Freakin” Rollins

The Usos come out to “take a front row seat” for the next match

Omos VS. Angelo Dawkins

Dawkins gets tripped by MVP and the referee catches it.

Winner by DQ: Angelo Dawkins

Adam Pearce comes out and makes a tag team match for after the break.

The Street Profits VS. Omos & MVP

Ford saves Dawkins from pinning by Omos, the profits then throw MVP into the Usos seated at the announce table. Profits hit a double superkick on Omos and Ford hits the high frog splash but only got a one count. The Usos then get involved and attacked the profits causing the disqualification.

Winners by DQ: The Street Profits

After the match, Omos, MVP and the Usos team up to beat down the Profits and leave them laying in the ring.

Sarah interviews Veer Mahaan and Veer says boo and then laughs then she turns and interviews the Miz. The Miz said Logan Paul has to have come to senses and they can become the Unified tag team champions but if not, he will learn why he won’t like being my opponent.

Theory comes out and continued to say how he was going to cash in the briefcase at SummerSlam and called out Dolph Ziggler for being jealous for attacking him last week.

AJ Styles says it doesn’t matter if he beats Bobby Lashley for the US Title or cash in to win the WWE Unified Universal title or both he will be first in line to take them off him. “And the locker room is not jealous of you, we all think you’re a jackass.”

Theory says he is the youngest Money in the Bank winner and that is why AJ hates him. AJ says Monday Night Raw isn’t long enough for him to tell Theory why he hates him, but he is the one that is going to knock some respect into him and hits Theory who drops the briefcase and rolls out of the ring. Prior to going to break Dolph Ziggler’s music hits and he comes out.

AJ Styles VS. Theory

As the action spills outside, Theory slams AJ’s head off the announce table and turns around and gets a superkick from Ziggler at ringside.

Winner by Count Out: AJ Styles

After the match, AJ hits Theory with the Styles Clash

Nikki A.S.H., Doudrop and Tamina VS. Asuka, Dana Brooke and Alexa Bliss

During the match Reggie appeared outside and as Dana yelled at him to get out of here and from behind Akira Tozawa rolled her up and pinned her to win the 24/7 Championship.

Nikki A.S.H. then kicks and gives Tozawa a neck breaker and wins the 24/7 Championship

Alexa Bliss then pins Nikki to win the 24/7 Championship

Doudrop then pins Alexa to win the 24/7 Championship

Tamina then pins Doudrop to win the 24/7 Championship

Dana Brooke then rolls up Tamina to regain the 24/7 Championship

Back to the six – woman tag team match, Asuka gets Nikki A.S.H. to tap out

Winners: Asuka, Alexa Bliss & Dana Brooke

MizTV is next with The Miz interviewing Logan Paul

Logan agitated The Miz enough to get the Miz to agree to the match at SummerSlam. The Miz attempted to attak Paul but Paul got the upper hand and clotheslined The Miz out of the ring only to get attacked by Ciampa. Paul was able to get out of the ring as The Miz and Ciampa stand in the ring yelling at Paul.

Paul said he is coming to Raw next week and will host MizTV better than the Miz can.
