Monday Night Raw TV report for 09/25/2023

The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes opens tonight’s Monday Night Raw!!

Cody says Jey Uso on Raw means someone gets drafted to Smackdown. As he started talking about the Judgment Day, Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor come to the ring. Cody asked Dominik what Mami would say if she came back and they were empty handed. Dominik said leave Mami’s name out of your mouth.

The Judgment Day starts to get in the ring and go after Cody, but Jey Uso comes out and then Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn and the Judgment Day back down.

The Judgment Day change their minds and go to get in the ring as JD McDonagh comes out with chairs in hand, but the Judgment Day was sent out except for Priest who took shots from all four and gets sent out of the ring.

Otis VS. Bronson Reed

Otis went for the splash off the second rope, but Reed moves and hits his Tsunami and gets the win.

Winner: Bronson Reed

Becky Lynch tells Tegan Nox she wants her to be next in line.

In the back, Adam Pearce is on the phone saying they haven’t figured out who is being traded to Smackdown yet when Teagan Nox comes in and asks for a match against the winner of the match at No Mercy. Natalya comes in and they begin to argue which leads to a match tonight.

Tomasso Ciampa VS. Ludwig Kaiser

Vinci gets up on the apron and Ciampa catches him in the face with a knee. Kaiser goes for the pin, but the referee is dealing with Vinci until Kaiser comes over and kicks his own partner out of the ring. As Kaiser turns around, he gets a knee to the face by Ciampa who then gets the win.

Winner: Tomasso Ciampa

Natalya VS. Teagan Nox

Nox hits the world’s shiniest wizard and gets the pinfall.

Winner: Tegan Nox

The World champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins comes out to the ring. Seth quickly calls out Shinsuke Nakamura and says it’s time to defend his championship and right here and right now we are getting an answer and if you do not accept my challenge for a rematch, I am pulling the opportunity because there are plenty of talents in the back that would take the opportunity and I want a fight. Nakamura on the video screen talks about Seth’s back and then says I will prevail, and I want the match as Last Man Standing. Seth says his broken back isn’t a weakness it’s a strength and the only way his family will be ashamed of him is if he doesn’t give it his all.

He knows every time he gets in the ring and every night could be his last night and his 100% make him the best.

Jackie Redmond interviews Ricochet, who is on crutches. Jackie asked for an update. Ricochet says he doesn’t know what to say. He will return, however who wins this last man standing at Fastlane, I have unfinished business with Shinsuke Nakamura.

Dominik Mysterio VS. Dragon Lee for the NXT North American Championship

Lee goes for the DDT in the corner but Dominik counters and hits Lee with a frog splash and retains the title.

Winner and Still NXT North American Champion: Dominik Mysterio

Jackie Redmond interviewed Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens and she asked about them coming to the aid of Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso and Kevin said it wasn’t about helping Jey Uso, its all about getting their hands on the Judgment Day. Sami then says it’s not even about that, it’s about us and ever since we were little dreaming of winning the WWE Tag Team Titles.

Michael Cole interviewed Nia Jax in the ring. She started naming everyone she squashed until Zoey Stark comes to the ring. Zoey tells her to do something to her face not from her back and Nia pushes Zoey and Zoey kept coming after Nia as referees held her back.

Nia Jax VS. Zoey Stark

Stark was coming back until she picked Nia up and her legs gave out and Nia ended it with her annihilator.

Winner: Nia Jax

Byron Saxton interviewed Jey Uso and he asked why he refused to join the Judgment Day and Jey said no groups and Judgment Day is not his kind of people. Byron asked where he stood with Sami and Kevin and Jey says he and Kevin have beef, but Sami is still his dog and if Judgment Day tries anything funny, he will be keeping a close eye on it.

MizTV with Drew McIntyre is next. The Miz tells him he would have left Jey Uso as well and they are both hard workers to work hard to become champion and then lose it. The New Day came out and called Drew a coward for what he did last week. Kofi tells Drew he should have helped Jey out and Drew explains he didn’t because he remembered what the Bloodline did to everyone. Every time the Miz tried to say something Drew told the Miz to shut up. Finally, the Miz attempted to say when his hand goes up and he gets a Glasgow Kiss. Drew then challenged Kofi to get in the ring.

In the back Alpha Academy are talking about the Bronson Reed match and Ludwig Kaiser comes in and tells Maxine that they hold themselves to higher standards. Maxine tells him to go away. Gable told him he lost and go back to your boss to get his brow beat.

Drew McIntyre VS. Kofi Kingston

During the match Ivar of the Viking Raiders comes out and takes out Xavier Woods. Kofi goes to help Woods and Drew stops him and hits a Claymore to get the win.

Winner: Drew McIntyre

After the match, Ivar gets in the ring and beats Kofi. Drew looks back as he walks to the back. He doesn’t come back and Ivar hits a moonsault onto Kofi.

Gunther is yelling at Vinci and Kaiser walked in and tells Gunther he ran into Chad Gable. Gunther said it’s ridiculous. Gunther says since you know how Giovanni messed up, you are now in charge of him and if you mess up, we have a problem and if he messes up, we have a problem, and I will continue to take care of business of being the longest reigning Intercontinental champion and I will beat Tomasso Ciampa by myself.

Damian Priest & Finn Balor VS. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn for the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championship

Dominik Mysterio comes out and Jey Uso comes out and takes out Dominik, JD McDonagh teams up with Dominik to take out Jey. Cody Rhodes comes out to save Jey. Owens stuns Balor, Priest throws Owens out of the ring but gets hit with a Helluva Kick but before Zayn could cover Priest, McDonagh hits Sami with a tag title and Priest covers Sami to retain the titles.

Winners and Still WWE Undisputed Tag Team Champions: Damian Priest & Finn Balor

As the Judgment Day leaves the ring Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes come back out and start fighting again and Kevin Owens is up, and Sami Zayn now involved as well. As we go off the air, Owens gives Dominik a stunner.
