Monday Night Raw TV report for 09/26/2022

Arena: Rogers Place
City: Edmonton, AB, Canada

Asuka, Alexa Bliss and Bianca Belair come out. Bianca says her girls are going to make sure at Extreme Rules it is just her and Bayley. Damage Control comes out and Bayley said it’s not about you and me. Bayley says Bianca was chosen and taught how to be champion and Bayley had to earn everything. Bianca said she earned everything.

Bayley challenged Bianca to a ladder match at Extreme Rules and Bianca said fine but since she can’t get extreme with her tonight, she is getting Extreme with her girl standing in front of her: Iyo Sky.

Bianca Belair VS. Iyo Sky

A great match with Bianca hitting the KOD for the win.

Winner: The Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair

Kevin Patrick interviews Rey Mysterio backstage and they talked about Dominik and Rey’s match with Seth “Freakin” Rollins tonight.

The Miz in back with a group of security and he called them the Miz Force and wants them to find or make sure Dexter Lumis is not here tonight.

Seth “Freakin” Rollins VS. Rey Mysterio

After Rollins has the microphone prior to the match, mostly talking about his Fight Pit match with Riddle coming up at Extreme Rules, he turns his attention to Rey who he calls out and tells Rey he is going to give him a beating he isn’t man enough to give his own son.

Rey comes to the ring and immediately dropkicks Rollins. During the match Dominik comes to ringside and sits by the announce table. While Seth had the referee preoccupied, Dominik challenged Rey to again hit him with a chair, but Rhea Ripley came from behind and threw Rey into the ring post. Dominik then rolled Rey back in the ring for Seth to hit the stomp then the Peruvian Necktie choke hold for the win.

Winner: Seth “Freakin” Rollins

In the back Riddle is intently watching the TV and Lashley came up behind him and scared Riddle. Lashley said he and Riddle know what it’s like to fight in a cage and Seth does not. Then Lashley warned him never get involved in any of his matches again.

Kevin Owens & Johnny Gargano VS. Alpha Academy

Owens elbow drops Otis through the announce table from the barricade. In the ring, Gargano was setting up Gable but out comes Austin Theory who grabs Gargano’s leg and distracts Gargano and Gable hit him with a DDT type maneuver only for a 2 count. Gargano then hits the DDT back in the ring for the win.

Winners: Kevin Owens and Johnny Gargano

In the back AJ Styles is interviewed and Finn Balor comes in and tries to talk AJ into letting them watch his back for his match tonight. AJ says he will watch his own back.

In the back we go to Theory and Alpha Academy. Theory answers his phone and tells Gable it’s for him and it was Braun Strowman telling Gable he will be facing him next Monday.

Omos VS. Two Local guys they didn’t introduce.

Omos squashed them.

Winner: Omos

The Miz is in the back and finds his Miz Force all laying on the floor and he backed up and Dexter is behind him dressed like a hockey player. Dexter then breaks a hockey stick over the Miz’s back and then chokes him out.

Nikki A.S.H. VS. Candice LeRae

Candice hit a swinging neck breaker off the second rope and got the win.

Winner: Candice LeRae

Sami Zayn VS. AJ Styles

After Solo Sikoa interfered, Sami hits a Helluva Kick and gets the win.

Winner: Sami Zayn

The Judgment Day come out as AJ is still laying in the ring. Finn again asked him to rise up and join the Judgment Day. AJ gets up and as Finn holds up the “too Sweet” symbol, AJ flipped him the middle finger and the Judgment Day jumped AJ with a chair. They placed the chair around AJ’s neck and Finn went to jump on the chair but stopped and said he could have ended it all right there, but he is his friend and that is not what friends do.

Damian Priest VS. Matt Riddle

After multiple pin attempts by both men, Riddle was able to roll up Priest for the pin.

Winner: Matt Riddle

After the end of the match, the Judgment Day jumped Riddle until Edge came out for the save and chased the Judgment Day out of the ring.

Edge then challenges Finn Balor for Extreme Rules in an I Quit match.
