Monday Night Raw TV report for 12/12/2022

Bayley VS. Alexa Bliss

The winner becomes #1 contender to the Raw Women’s championship. Prior to the match, Damage Control arrives to the ring. Becky Lynch comes out and attacks the Women’s Tag Team Champions and sent them to the back. Bianca Belair also comes to ringside after Alexa is announced to watch the match from ringside.

Bayley removes the corner turnbuckle pad, but Bianca grabbed the pad and got the referee’s attention. Bayley from outside drops Alexa over the second rope onto her neck and then goes to hit Alexa on the outside but Alexa ducks and Bianca grabs Bayley’s hand before she made contact with Bianca. Alexa, who was acting a little unsteady at this point in the match, gets back in the ring and Bayley joins her only to be sent into the corner where the turnbuckle pad used to be. After almost slipping off the rope Alexa hits Twisted Bliss for the win.

Winner and New # 1 contender for the Raw Women’s Championship: Alexa Bliss

After the match, Bianca gets in the ring and offers a handshake but Alexa wants a hug then the screen in the background went fuzzy for a second and Alexa bent Bianca over like she was going to deliver Sister Abigail to Bianca then pulls her back up not sure what is going on. Both ladies look confused as Alexa leaves the ring.

They show footage from Friday Night Smackdown of Kurt Angle’s Birthday celebration getting interrupted by Alpha Academy, then spraying Alpha Academy with milk.

Alpha Academy is shown arriving, and Byron Saxton asked them about Friday night and they began to call Kurt a relic and does not belong in the ring with them. The O.C. walks by and Gable tells AJ that he is just like Kurt and is not as good as he used to be. AJ said get your gear on we will find out.

Chad Gable VS. AJ Styles

Styles with the Styles clash gets the win.

Winner: AJ Styles

In the back, Johnny Gargano and Dexter Lumis are talking and looking at a dry erase board. Candice comes in and gives them an idea of what to do with what is left with Dexter’s bag of money.

 The Judgment Day VS. The Street Profits & Akira Tozawa

With the Street Profits out of the ring and Tozawa being double teamed in the ring, Priest hits the power bomb and Dominik rolls over and covers Tozawa for the win.

Winners: The Judgment Day

In the back, Johnny Gargano and Dexter Lumis are at a merchandise table and says we will take it and took what merchandise they could carry and began handing things out to the fans.

Back from break, Johnny Gargano and Dexter Lumis come out pulling a wagon full of the merchandise they just got backstage and says they want to give back to the WWE Universe by giving them some stuff and started throwing everything out to the crowd.

As Lumis and Gargano were throwing things out to the crowd, The Miz attacked and tried to steal the bag of what was left of the money back and Adam Pearce stops him and gets him back to the ring. Miz tries to bargain to get his money back. Dexter is willing to give him a chance to win his money back next week, but Gargano says let’s raise the stakes to a ladder match.

Gargano says if you want the match you need to help us give away the rest of this merchandise dressed as an elf. Pearce tells him to go get his costume on and Miz gets out of the ring and starts angrily throwing stuff to the crowd.

Candace LaRae VS. Iyo Sky

As both ladies are on the top rope, Iyo was able to push Candice off and hit Candice with a moonsault and get the win.

Winner: Iyo Sky

Kevin Owens is being interviewed in the back and Elias came in and asked Owens to be in his corner tonight. Owens said do you think I forgot about earlier this year for months and months of mental torment so why would I have your back. Elias says he needs Owens and Owens turned to walk away, came back and still said nothing and walked away.

Elias VS. Solo Sikoa

Solo hits spinning Solo for the win.

Winner: Solo Sikoa

After the match, Solo again attacked Elias and hit Elias with a Samoan spike then got a chair to use on Elias. Kevin Owens did come out to save Elias, hitting Solo with a stunner.

As Owens stood watching Sami talk Solo to the back, Elias made his way to his feet and put his hand on Kevin’s shoulder and Kevin turned and hit Elias with a stunner.

They announced Tribute to the Troops will be this Saturday.

Asuka VS. Rhea Ripley

Asuka had Ripley pinned, Dominik put Ripley’s leg on the ropes. Asuka then blew the green mist into Dominik’s eyes but while distracted by Dominik, Ripley grabs Asuka and hits a Riptide for the win.

Winner: Rhea Ripley

Bobby Lashley VS. Seth “Freakin” Rollins

The winner becomes #1 contender to the United States Championship.

After blocking a stomp from Rollins, Lashley gave Rollins a spear, but the referee had to dive out of the ring to get out of the action and tweaked his ankle, Lashley only got a 2 count, Lashley sets up for a second spear, but Rollins catches him with a pedigree.

Winner and # 1 contender to the United States Championship: Seth “Freakin” Rollins

After the match, Lashley argues with the referee and grabs him and pushes him in the corner and another referee came in and tried to stop Lashley only to get elbowed to the face. This brings Adam Pearce out yelling at Lashley and Lashley pushes Pearce out of his way with a hand to Pearce’s face. Pearce gets up and yells at Lashley “You are fired”.

Lashley looks as Pearce walks to the back and says, “I’m What?” Lashley looking confused as Raw goes off the air.
