More news on what led to departure of Samantha Irvin from WWE

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that Samantha Irvin left WWE after both sides could not come to an agreement over her planned outside commitments, most notably her desire to pursue a music career.

In a post on social media, Irvin corrected someone who posted that she notified WWE about her departure prior to Raw, but Irvin said she gave notice months ago and WWE knew ahead of time that she was departing the company.

With her fiancee Ricochet in AEW, rumors obviously quickly popped up about she moving there with him but Ricochet was also quick to turn those rumors down.

“Haha, she’s not coming to AEW. You can all rest easy,” he said in a post on X.

While the plan is to focus on her music career, it’s not written in stone that she won’t go to AEW to be with her man.

Meltzer also added that Irvin had been thinking about making the move for a long time and finally decided to go with it, ending her WWE career in the process.
