Mustafa Ali gets Intercontinental title shot at Night of Champions

Mustafa Ali was the winner of the battle royal last night on Raw and became the #1 contender for Gunther’s Intercontinental title.

Ali will now get his shot at the upcoming Night of Champions premium live event live from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on May 27.

The former leader of Retribution was in the final four with Riddle, Ricochet, and Bronson Reed. Riddle was taken out by Imperium from the outside while Ali then eliminated both Ricochet and Reed with a missile dropkick while Ricochet was on Reed’s shoulders.

It was definitely a surprise win but the crowd reacted positively for the result as fireworks went off in celebration.
