Naomi replaces Cargill as one half of WWE Women’s Tag Team champions

Naomi has replaced Jade Cargill as WWE Women’s Tag Team champion after last night on Smackdown, General Manager Nick Aldis informed Bianca Belair that he has to strip her and Cargill of the titles since Cargill is out injured.

Naomi, who was with Belair and still somewhat of a suspect in Cargill’s injury, offered to step in and assume the role of one half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team champions.

Aldis agreed to swapping her but on one condition, that the two will defend their titles on next week’s episode of Smackdown. Belair and Naomi will take on Nia Jax and Candice LaRae, with Jax in a position to become a double champion.
