Next WWE Studios movie Eliminators featuring Wade Barrett out later this month

Universal Pictures announced that the next movie in association with WWE Studios will be released on Digital HD and Blu-Ray on Tuesday, November 22 and Tuesday, December 6 respectively. The movie, titled Eliminators, features Scott Adkins and ironically enough former WWE Superstar Wade Barrett.

The synopsis for the movie reads, “When his home in London is attacked, a former federal agent (Adkins) must come out of hiding in the Witness Protection Program to protect his daughter. With his true identity exposed to the criminal underworld, he goes on the run with Europe’s most dangerous assassin on his trail and must use every trick he knows to keep his family alive. Also starring Wade Barrett, Eliminators is a fast-paced, edge-of-your-seat thrill ride.

WWE has been concentrating on making direct-to-disc movies rather than having expensive theatrical releases. They have agreements in place with different movie studios who split costs with WWE Studios on the production and distribution of these movies.
