Former Raw Women’s champion Nia Jax will be out of action for the foreseeable future due to knee injuries that will require surgeries.
Jax wrote on Twitter that she has been pushing through some pain over the past year but it’s now time to undergo surgery to repair both of her ACLs.
Recovering from ACL surgery usually takes around six to nine months depending on how bad the injury is. This surgery, while common for athletes, is considered a major surgery and requires the reconstruction or replacement of the anterior cruciate ligament, using a graft to replace it.
Jax’s last match was at WrestleMania in the fatal 4-way tag team match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles where she teamed up with Tamina.
