The first-round matches of the WWE United Kingdom Championship tournament were held yesterday in front of a lively crowd at the Empress Ballroom in Blackpool.

The eight man who advanced to the second round are Trent Seven, Jordan Devlin, Sam Gradwell, Pete Dunne, Wolfgang, Joseph Conners, Mark Andrews, and Tyler Bate. The remaining rounds in the tournament, including the final, take place today with Tyler Bate vs Jordan Devlin, Trent Seven vs Wolfgang, Mark Andrews vs Joseph Conners, and Pete Dunne vs Sam Gradwell.

Attending the show were officials from ICW, Progress Wrestling and OTT Wrestling, the three British indie promotions who made all this possible. WWE even acknowledged them on screen during the broadcast.
