Nikki vs Rousey set for Evolution after Bellas turn on the champion

One of the main events of Evolution was set last night on Raw as Ronda Rousey’s opponent was revealed.

After teaming up with The Bella Twins to take on The Riott Squad in a rematch from Saturday’s Super Show-Down, Nikki and Brie turned on the Raw Women’s champion. After hugging her following the conclusion of the match, Nikki hit Rousey from behind as her sister joined in on the assault.

Rousey did eventually regain the upper hand but it did not last that long as she was sent to the ring post by Brie Bella. Referees tried to diffuse the situation but the Twins continued beating on the champ, slamming her into the steel steps, barricade, and then dragging her to the middle of the ring as they put their feet on her in a show of disrespect.

In a WWE.COM video, Brie said Rousey has been taking their space and Nikki added that this is a “Bellalution” and they needed to remind everyone what it really is, including the champion.
