The next NXT television special will take place on Tuesday, August 16 on USA Network and will be titled Heatwave.

The announcement of Heatwave was made during yesterday’s broadcast and two matches have been confirmed for the show.

The NXT Women’s title will be defended as Mandy Rose takes on the battle royal winner Zoey Stark. Also, Bron Breakker will defend his NXT title against former Cruiserweight champion JD McDonagh.

This will be the sixth TV special for NXT following New Year’s Evil in January, Vengeance Day in February, Roadblock in March, Spring Breakin’ in May, and The Great American Bash earlier this month.
