NXT returning for non-televised live events in Florida starting in June

POST Wrestling is reporting that NXT will be returning for non-televised live events in the state of Florida starting from next month.

WWE halted all NXT live events in March of 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic and after WWE resumed shows in July of last year, NXT remained off the road, doing just one show per week for television tapings in the Performance Center.

The live events, usually held in front of a small audience of a couple of hundred people, are done to give those in training experience in performing in front of a live crowd.

Cities visited in the past as part of what it’s called the Coconut Loop include Cocoa, Sanford, Orlando, Daytona Beach, Jacksonville, Largo, and others.

NXT is not expected to tour nationally with the current roster. Before the pandemic, there were a handful of live events around the United States with the main NXT roster but it looks like those are not returning yet.
