NXT star Amari Miller left the ringside area in a stretcher yesterday after losing to Lash Legend on the USA Network broadcast.
WWE medical personnel and referees helped get Miller on a stretcher during a commercial break and while Miller looked fine during the match, it seems that the finishing move by Legend, which involves a modified fireman’s carry slam, did the damage as she hit the mat pretty hard.
The 25-year-old wrote on Twitter today that she was on the receiving end of a concussion and thanked the fans for checking on her. “Much love to everyone that had reached out! We gonna keep on moving,” she wrote.
Miller and Legend were a tag team last week and competed in the Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament but they lost to Io Shirai and Kay Lee Ray, with Legend blaming Miller for the loss.
