NXT star Edris Enfoe was the talk of Twitter yesterday after he uploaded a video getting a massive WWE logo tattoo on his chest.
“NEW CHEST TAT!! One thing about me is, I’m dedicated to this brand,” Enfoe wrote.
Some fans online suggested that it’s a fake video as the tattoo artist wasn’t even wearing gloves, but Enfoe confirmed that it was real while talking to USA Insider.
“Honestly, it was spur of the moment,” he told USA Insider. “I will eventually be the face of this brand and I felt this was the best way to represent it. WWE has changed my life, and this is my way of saying thank you — by becoming an ambassador for the rest of my life.”
Many comments online suggest that fans weren’t much impressed with his choice.
“Imagine going to another company and not being able to be on TV do to the trademark logo on his chest,” commented one user. “Someone save this video for the next 6ish months for his post WM Future Endeavors post,” added another.
Enfoe, who signed with WWE in 2021, said that there’s nothing wrong with getting branded tattoos.
“I get a @WWE tattoo and y’all wanna clown me..Others get a Pepsi tattoo and y’all don’t say nothing.. okay,” he said, obviously referring to CM Punk.
He posted a “reveal” video, where he stopped short of showing the whole tattoo, but his choice of background was also questionable with several condoms hanging behind him. Oops!
