NXT Vengeance Day television special set for February 15

WWE yesterday announced that the next NXT television special will take place on Tuesday, February 15 and will be titled Vengeance Day.

Airing live on USA Network, Vengeance Day follows New Year’s Evil as the brand’s second special event of the year. Last year, the same name was used for a Takeover event which was held on Valentine’s Day.

Only one match has been confirmed so far for the show and will see Carmelo Hayes defending his NXT North American title against Cameron Grimes. Grimes won a #1 contender’s match against Tony D’Angelo last night to set up the match.

NXT will also hold Stand & Deliver during WrestleMania week but it’s unknown yet if that will be a WWE Network special or else a television taping for USA Network.
